Bookkeeper - Financial Control
Mauritius
We've a great opportunity for someone with at least two years' experience within a professional environment to join our office in Mauritius.
In this role you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing day-to-day accounting activities for the Group.
Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions

Manage and reconcile credit card and bank statements

Manage petty cash and reconcile petty cash accounts

Reconcile and report on inter-company accounts

Work closely with the Assistant Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors

Handle any other accounting-related duties as required
Minimum experience / education required
-
A minimum of two years’ relevant experience

Educated to A ‘Levels standard, or equivalent

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to act as an ambassador of the Group’s values.
