We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CDD Compliance Officer to join our team in Amsterdam.

We are currently undergoing a project to upgrade our entire portfolio of client files. As CDD Compliance Officer you will be part of the compliance team assisting with Praxis' re-acceptance of existing files, and the acceptance of new business and review if this process is in line with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and guide the business teams in relation to the assessments and mitigation of client risks

• Create a culture of risk awareness and influence the development of a positive CDD culture by seeking continuous improvement and efficiencies

• Actively identify areas of improvement (content) for knowledge sharing with the business

• Conduct reviews of client risk assessments

• Draft Compliance advice per CDD file

• Follow changes in applicable laws and regulations and discuss any changes with the compliance team
• Responsible for organising and recording activities of the Client Acceptance Committee

Minimum experience / education required

• HBO or Master's degree

• Two to three years of relevant experience working with KYC requirements (preferably with Wtt2018)

• Knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations relating to financial services

Required skills

• Self-starter, with strong analytical skills

• Ability to work to tight deadlines

• Affinity with the legal language
• Good command of written and verbal Dutch and English language
• Ability to understand complex legal frameworks and tax structures
