Financial Account Manager (part-time)

Working with a diverse portfolio of international corporate clients, you'll be their first point of contact.
Your main responsibilities will be to take ownership of the daily financial management and coordination of between 40 to 60 client companies together with your Business Unit Manager and legal colleagues, as well as onboarding new clients within your portfolio.
This is a part-time role, based in our Amsterdam office.
Key responsibilities

Comply with internal procedures and Dutch Central Bank regulations

Comprehensive keeping of client accounts
-
Act as the first point of contact for your client portfolio, advisors, and other relevant parties
-
Maintain and develop close relationships with prospects, clients, intermediaries, and other
stakeholders, such as banks, lawyers, accountants, advisors and (semi) governmental institutions -
Consult and correspond in a professional manner on behalf of client companies

Prepare the monthly/quarterly/annual management reports, in accordance with international
standards and internal requirements -
Prepare, check and assess company accounting records/annual accounts

Preparation and submission of annual tax returns, in accordance with regulations
-
Preparation and submission of the monthly/quarterly VAT return
-
Assistance in financial and tax audits

Report to the DNB and AFM (regulations)

Transaction monitoring in accordance with Wtt and Wwft

Managing bank accounts for clients

Maintaining the relevant accounting databases; and

Other activities in consultation with senior management
Minimum experience / education required
-
You will hold a Bachelor, or a Master degree in relevant discipline (preferably finance/accounting)

A minimum of three years' relevant working experience
-
Extended knowledge of Dutch GAAP and regulations, knowledge of IFRS is considered to be of value

Practical knowledge of tax law, VAT and CIT declarations
