PraxisIFM Sponsors the 2017 Channel Islands Sports Rising Star Award

PraxisIFM has announced a new three-year deal with ITV Channel to co-sponsor the Betway CI Sports Awards.

The PraxisIFM Rising Star category will recognise the best young sports stars from across the islands. The 2017 awards were launched in early November with sports fans across the Channel Islands now being asked to nominate their favourite sportsmen and women across all disciplines. Nominations can be made at itv.com/channel.

Other categories open for nomination are The Source Recruitment Coach of the Year The Michael Lucas Sporting Hero The Waves Team of the Year and the Betway CI Sports Personality of the Year Award.

Nominations close at midnight on Sunday 26 November 2017.

The nominations will be shortlisted by a panel of judges and the winners will be presented with their awards at a black tie gala event on 25 January 2018 at Beau Sejour Guernsey which will be broadcast live by ITV Channel Television in two live programmes.

PraxisIFM already supports the islands' sports scene through sponsorship of the CI Cricket League junior cycling and club under-13s football in Guernsey and horse racing at the Jersey Race Club.
