Praxis announces first promotions in move to year-round recognition model

Praxis has announced the promotion of three Channel Island colleagues, the first under its new, year-round promotions framework.

The new model marks a significant shift from the industry-standard annual promotion cycle, allowing the firm to recognise individual development and stay ahead of client and business demands. Promotions can now be made throughout the year, as soon as colleagues demonstrate they are ready to take the next step in their careers.

The first three promoted under the new framework are two new Associate Directors in Jersey and one in Guernsey.

Maxine Lilley has been promoted to Associate Director in the Jersey Private Wealth team. With over 20 years’ experience in the offshore fiduciary industry, including five at Praxis, Maxine works on a variety of structures for high-net-worth clients, including families, bringing depth of expertise and a strong client focus to the team.

Also in Jersey, Sam Richardson has been promoted to Associate Director – Head of Infrastructure. Sam joined Praxis in 2022 and is responsible for overseeing the Group’s global IT systems and infrastructure strategy, ensuring technology continues to support the firm’s operations and client service effectively.

In Guernsey, Charlotte Neill has been promoted to Associate Director - Group Head of People Business Partnering. Charlotte, who joined Praxis a year ago, leads the People Business Partnering team across all jurisdictions, aligning the Group’s people strategy with business priorities and supporting colleagues’ development and progression.

Group CEO Robert Fearis said: “As a forward-thinking, people-first firm, we have implemented this new, agile framework to enable us to recognise performance as it happens, strengthening our teams in line with the evolving needs of our clients and the Group.

“We believe in creating an environment where people can do their best work, feel valued and grow, and I congratulate Charlotte, Sam and Maxine on their continued success.”

The framework forms part of Praxis’ continued focus on building a high-performing culture, with clear career progression and defined promotion standards across its global network.
