Praxis backs Guernsey Raiders with new two-year Gold sponsorship
Independent professional services firm Praxis has announced its support for the Guernsey Raiders as Gold sponsor for both the ladies’ and men’s teams across the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons.
This major new partnership builds on Praxis’ long history in Guernsey, where more than 120 colleagues are based across client-facing and support teams delivering private wealth services to an international client base. The business last year moved into new open-plan offices at Regency Court, creating a collaborative environment for its growing team. Recent senior hires and the addition of a new intake of school leavers underline its investment in developing talent and strengthening its local presence.
This sponsorship reflects Praxis’ commitment to investing in the island’s community, supporting sport and championing the values that rugby brings to players and supporters alike.
The men’s first team competes in the RFU National 2 South division, while the ladies’ side plays in League Championship 2SW, both making a significant contribution to Guernsey’s sporting community.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Ciaran O’Neill, Managing Director of Praxis in Guernsey - and a former player - said: “Having played local rugby myself, I know the impact the game has in shaping people and teaching them the value of teamwork, resilience, dedication and leadership. Qualities that are important to cultivate in all aspects of life.
“We’re proud to support the Raiders again and play our part in helping the teams thrive both on and off the pitch.”
Chris Gnapp, Guernsey Raiders’ Vice Chair and Director of Sponsorship, added: “The Raiders and Praxis have enjoyed a strong and longstanding relationship, and we are extremely grateful for their continued commitment in stepping up to Gold Partner status.
“Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Praxis and their guests to our home games and sharing with them everything that makes the Raiders so special.”
Raiders men start their home campaign against Dorking at Footes Lane on Saturday, with the ladies’ team’s first match away to East Grinstead on Sunday 21 September.
