Role at Praxis
John joined Praxis in 2019 and played a key role in establishing our market-leading End of Service Benefits offering in the UAE, where he was based for three years.
He relocated to our Malta office in 2025 and now oversees the operational delivery of our local pensions business, with responsibility for multiple departments across several schemes. He focuses on ensuring the smooth and efficient running of operations while maintaining a strong emphasis on client experience.
John’s role includes developing strategies to enhance service delivery, leading system integrations and driving continuous improvement initiatives. He works closely with cross-functional teams to implement practical solutions, streamline processes and strengthen operational efficiency across the business.
Career history
John first joined Trireme Pensions, part of the Praxis Group, in 2019 as Operations Manager. In this role, he was responsible for the smooth day‑to‑day running of the business, team leadership, regulatory reporting, and providing direction within the investment committee.
He brings a broad and progressive understanding of international pension arrangements, including UK SIPP/SSAS, QROPS/QNUPS, EU, UAE, and US structures.
Before joining Praxis, John worked with two of Malta’s largest international pension providers, representing both within the Malta Association of Retirement Scheme Practitioners and contributing to several internal committees.
He holds a Diploma in Financial Advice from the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
