Lesia is an experienced compliance professional with expertise in the financial services industry and a long-standing commitment to regulatory excellence.
Career History
Lesia brings 16 years of compliance experience within the BVI financial services sector, with expertise in governance, regulatory frameworks, and corporate administration.
She has been an active member of the BVI Association of Compliance Officers since 2012 and has served as Secretary of its Executive Committee since 2019. Her expertise is further recognised through her appointment as a Commissioner of Oaths in 2020 and her selection to serve on the Company Law Review Advisory Committee in 2023.
Lesia holds an ICA International Certificate in Compliance, a Diploma in International Trust Management, and Chartered Director status. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, ACAMS, and an ICA Affiliate.
Role at Praxis
As Head of Compliance, Lesia serves as a primary liaison between the business and regulatory authorities, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements while maintaining exceptional client service. She joined Praxis at the end of 2025.
