After starting his career in offshore private wealth over a decade ago, Tom has developed deep expertise in managing complex client relationships and cross-border structures. Now based in Hong Kong SAR, he is focused on supporting clients with international interests and promoting Praxis’ global services across the region.
History
Tom began his career in retail banking before joining Praxis Guernsey in 2013. He quickly established himself in client-facing roles, with a focus on private wealth structuring for international families and entrepreneurs, and complex corporate structuring for large multinational businesses. He was promoted to Client Relationship Director in January 2025 and, later that year, relocated to the Group’s Hong Kong SAR office to drive business development in the region.
Tom obtained a Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration from The Chartered Governance Institute (CGI) in 2016.
While in Guernsey, Tom also played an active role in the wider business community. In 2023, he helped to establish the local Institute of Directors’ Next Gen Forum and was appointed its first Chair. In 2024, he was recognised in both the eprivateclient Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders list and the eprivateclient UK NextGen Leaders list.
Roles and responsibilities
In his current role, he is focused on business development in Asia and works closely with intermediaries and clients to deliver structuring solutions that support local and cross-border corporate structuring, asset protection, succession planning and long-term wealth preservation.
