Role at Praxis
Tess coordinates the delivery of learning initiatives across the Group, supporting professional qualifications development programmes and day-to-day learning activities. She helps colleagues access the resources, guidance and opportunities available to support their development.
Career history
Tess has a decade of experience as a secondary school teacher in New Zealand, specialising in English and Art History, before relocating to Guernsey in 2024 to pursue a career in learning and development. She began her career in a general HR administration role to build foundational knowledge of the function, and now works in L&D, combining her teaching background with a passion for developing people.
Qualifications
Tess has achieved a Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma in Teaching and a Master of Education.
